ABOUT HUDSON

Hudson Wilding was conjured from the same land as Rip Van Winkle and Sleepy Hollow. At the age of seventeen, she moved with her family to the swamplands of the American South, where she acquired a taste for Southern Gothic tales and began to refine her skills at writing fiction.

After studying literature at UNC-Chapel Hill and spending a fever-dream season abroad in Edinburgh exploring Scottish folklore, she decided to return to her roots in Upstate New York, where she now works for a non-profit.

From horror stories about body suspension artists to dark comedies about cannibals, her creative work often features existentially unmoored characters faced with absurd circumstances.
